The Family

Lovebug is my husband and best friend.

I met Lovebug when I was fourteen and we married six years later. Now, here we are fourteen years later with two children. Crazy.

Lovebug is tall, white, and handsome (with dark hair and buns of steel).  He was in law enforcement for eleven years and just recently took a new career path.  He currently is in charge of safety for the local school district. Tim’s career advancement and taking a job outside of police work is something I’ve prayed many, many, years about. (Read older posts for reasoning).

He is truly my best friend and the perfect match for me. God gave me my soul mate and I am so thankful for that.

Evan is our sweet firstborn child whom the Lord blessed us with on December 8th, 2009. He is such a fun little boy to be around. He is my super hero, bug killer, mister negotiator, and a lovable child who will give me ten million kisses a day ( usually followed by “Mom, can I have a piece of candy now?”).  I totally see the job description con artist in his future. Fella is just too smart for his own good!

Reese is our very passionate daughter who was born on April 25th, 2012.  She is an absolute adventure that is very demanding of my time.  She loves her Mama dearly and has never been away from me for more than a couple of hours.  Read: severe case of separation anxiety.  She is one of a kind. I like to use the adjective “feisty” to describe her. Evan chooses you to “crazy girl” and Lovebug usually throws his hands up and says “I don’t know what to do with her. ”  Newsflash pal, me either!  I always have to tell folks, “don’t be fooled by that doll face and curly blonde hair.”

Both of my children are completely different, but at the same time, so much alike. I love them dearly and am proud to be called their Mama!

  1. WOW! You are going to make me cry. I think this is a great idea since I think you have the greatest guys around. You are a great mom and I am proud of you. Keep it going, I will look forward to the next update.
    Love ya,
    Lynn
