Falling for Cotton

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween.  We surely did, with two Spidermen!

Evan is the apple of her eye and because of this, my Reese Eleanor is not a girly girl.  She wants to do {and be} everything that he is doing. She is his biggest admirer and supporter.  She will cling to every potty word that he speaks, laugh about it for days, and will then decide to repeat it to every elderly person she sees while we’re grocery shopping. The words “poo” and “pee” provide endless hours of entertainment for them.

Those words also come in handy during picture time.  Here’s a sneak peek of our Christmas photos. In this picture, “green poo” gets the best laugh award from Ree.

Yep, that’s a cotton field and an old wooden sled. These two items together make for a great Christmas photo shoot. They are subtle enough that they still speak Christmastime in the South.

Here are a few more.

Navy blue is always our go-to color. It works so well with my blonde hair and fair-skinned children. My dress, Tim’s sweater, and Evan’s pants all came from H&M. It’s a great one-stop shop for the family; you’ll be sure to find something for everyone!

Thank you again to the very talented Sarah Rogers at Sully & Willis Photography.

Lastly, Groupon has a steal on holiday cards through Staples. I ordered 50 cards and only paid $5.00.

If you refer at least two friends to this offer and they also purchase it, Groupon will refund you $5.00.  After I purchased mine, I shared it on Facebook and within 10 minutes I received an email from Groupon letting me know my friends bought one too.  I feel so accomplished my holiday cards are ordered!
